Keep away! Hidden SURCHARGES and masters of inventing ways to RIP YOU OFF!
Customer care is non existing and there is no way to sort anything out with them, travelplanet only cares on how to take more money from you! I made the mistake to book my ferry tickets through their platform and i will regret it for the rest of the summer.
I booked 2 return tickets to Paros. total cost 200E. The ship was half empty "the system" allocated randomly seats that were not together. Was never notified about this, while booking -if i knew i wouldn't complete the purchase anyways. When i dropped by to pick up the tickets i had to ask about this, and when i asked the cashier to correct their mistake, the response that i got was that this is how their system works (irrationally!) and that in order to "correct" this i would have to pay an extra 12E for this luxury!
Booking directly through the shipping company site, allocated seats together.. miracle!
When i asked for my money back, again i was told that i would have to pay 12E. Thank God they didn't ask for 12E for using the company elevator and speaking to them.
The shipping company cancels the reservation without any additional charges.
Its a shame, for a country like Greece that expects so much from tourism, to allow such companies to operate. STAY AWAY!!!
