  A beautiful location. The beach is inside a bay so the water is calm and at least from the time we were there no current- which makes it a very safe and family friendly beach. The sand is not as soft, smooth and white as that of a tropical island, but still comfortable enough. Lots of small pebbles align the lenght of the beach and the first few steps into the water is over a plateau of had stone. That, and the fact that the beach is very well visited is why I gave it a 4 star. There are a handful of restaurants or taverns, some bars and a supermarket selling all sorts of stuff from beach items to groceries. You can park almost anywhere you want as long as you don't block access to roads, stairs or private property. At the weekend showing up a bit later in the afternoon might mesn a bit of waiting time before you get a parking spot. There are fixed umbrellas (€3 each)and beach beds (€2 each) for rent. Just settle in and someone will come by to collect the fees.

  Less crowded than Agia Pelagia, but also less places to eat in. Sea is good. Beach is from coarse sand and very small stones. Some waves, but not very disturbing.
