Last week September 11 – September 18, 2021 we rented a Yacht at Istion.
It was a 2006 Hanse 400.
We are very disappointed with the rental of this Yacht and how they handled it at Istion
- The Yacht was hugely lubricated upon receipt (both inside and out)
- The hot water boiler was not working (immediately reported when receiving the boat, but nothing was done with it)
- The toilets were not working properly (the drains were clogged)
- The connection of the power supply was faulty
- The mooring lines of the Yacht were much too heavy and much too long.
It was striking when we returned the boat most complaints were not recorded on their report. It was clear to us at the time that the problems were known, but that they did not want to tackle or resolve them.
It's a shame it all had to go this way. Istion will no longer rent a Yacht to us.response / report this review -

I think a little bit more respekt for locals and other people would be nice.
we were on a public beach in fiskardo (kimilia)
and everithing was blocked by three catamarans from this company with loud music . do this on secret spots but not public accsessable places!response / report this review -

Hired a yacht for a week via Istion Lefkas. Service excellent. Check in procedure very professional and to the point. Base manager and staff were highly capable and knowledgeable. Saw some of the Istion skippers during the week - they were all very helpful and highly competent and professional. Highly recommended as a Charter Company. Boat very clean and performed perfectly. Great sailing vessel in low and high winds (+20 knots one day). Ionian incredible and having chartered in many locations, this was the best ever week we have had. Recommend Ithaca and Kefalonia in particular but all areas fantastic.
