Perfect start: upgrade to the butler level! Nice room, a bit old-fashioned but in the sweet way/ very friendly staff/ very good housekeeping/ fantastic bar/ smokers lounge is a unique experience, you just have to buy a cigar/ breathtaking view (Acropolis and Parliament)/ close to all shopping places/ a real grand hotel: please keep that spirit!

An excellent luxury hotel in the heart of Athens. Great views of the Acropolis and Syntagma Square. The decor is grand and old fashioned, but not tired. The service is highly professional and extremely attentive - possibly a bit much so sometimes, but it is done with charm. Overall highly recommended for both tourism and work, if the budget fits.

Enjoyed an afternoon tea as a birthday treat. We ordered one portion as two would have been too much for us. Service was very good and quick, there was attention to details and given two glasses of free champagne as a birthday treat. I will recommend

This is the most amazing hotel . You are treated like royalty and the building decor is incredible. We were on the butler floor and were treated with Champlain on our arrival. We enjoyed the roof top pool and the 4-5 saunas in the downstairs spa. The restaurant has a Michelin star and the food is amazing. The wine list is the most impressive I have ever seen. It is so long they bring it to you on a tablet. This hotel was for the last day of our honeymoon and the staff did everything the could to make it special. thank you!

Beautiful hotel in downtown Athens with a rooftop restaurant and bar overlooking Central square and a phenomenal view of the Acropolis awesome for breakfast in the morning (worth it, delicious), spectacular in the evening with the Acropolis all lit up for night time. The rooms are nice, very comfortable even the standard rate rooms with inner courtyard. Some of the outer rooms lookout on the Acropolis. Staff is very friendly and helpful. You never know who you'll run in to in this hotellots of digintaries and stars stay here. Room rates are on par with 5-star hotel. Your close to most of the popular archeology sites of Athens. Easily walkable. Very enjoyable experience! We absolutely loved our experience!

Outstanding hotel, staff, opulence and experience. This is most certainly the most elite experience in Athens, conveniently centered in the city across from Syntagma and the Parliament.

If you're visiting Athens and prefer a luxury experience in the city center, this is it!

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. The service is a stand-out. The staff are all genuinely friendly. Views from the rooftop restaurant are outstanding. We had a room with a view of the Acropolis. Be careful- the Acropolis is a a few km away so you need to go on the balcony to see it. Don't expect to see it from your room.

This is a really upmarket hotel, possibly the most famous in Greece, a historic landmark in the center of Athens. Great views from the restaurant on the top floor. Not for tight budgets.

Visited the cafe in the lobby - attentive staff, decent cocktail selection and nice desserts although a restricted choice of desserts without nuts which isn't great if you are allergic. Reccomend for a great atmosphere - obviously expect a price tag though.
