We use this hotel regularly. Nice clean rooms and good service. Free drinks for group when it was my wife's birthday.
Super friendly staff and great roof terrace bar with amazing views. Good central location.
Reception was very friendly and helpful. Staff went out of their way too open breakfast bar 30 minutes early to accommodate our early departure. Actual breakfast selection could be improved.
This hotel was in an excellent location very close to a market area with an excellent view. The image I used shows our balcony view. There is a rooftop bar with the same/better view though, so it doesn't even matter what room you get. It was very clean and didn't have any issues. Took a little getting used to having the door key used to keep the electricity on in the room. I needed to work remotely, so I can confirm the internet speeds were great IN the room.
Checking in was fine until the moment we walked into the elevator. Now coming from the US maybe it's a thing, but the elevator states it could fit 4people vs reality you could fit you and your luggage comfortably (if your claustrophobic I advise take the stairs). On top of how small the elevator was there was no door so you saw the elevator going up so now you have to make sure you aren't so close because you'll probabaly get hurt. We get out of the elevator the hallway already gave me the impression of how outdated the hotel is. It looked like a scene from a horror movie. The light flickers on once you walk towards your room and it's not a very comfortable atmosphere. We walk in to our room and was SO dissapointed. Our room looked NOTHING like the pictures posted, was very outdated and had 2 twin beds when booked I asked for 1 bed obviously we're a couple. We called the reception and without even finishing our sentence rudely he shut us down. Walking into the bathroom it was so small, the tub was small when we showered all of the water was coming out with the curtains sticking to our bodies. The lights to the bathroom wouldn't even turn on without flicking the switch on and off a couple of times. Let's just say the room was so outdated we had to ask the reception how to flush the toilet and ofcourse answered so rude and acted like we were crazy and said "you press the button" obviously we know that but there was no visbile button. Once a employee comes in who was probabaly the nicest one there he showed us a big item above he show which had a syringe like button to press. You'd think having tourist from around the world they'll be more lenient on explaining things coming from the US that is not something you see everyday. Aside from all the dissapointments we refused to sleep there and slept over at our friends hotel because of all the dissapointments we had. We even checked previous reviews to go by to make sure we didn't miss anything and we didn't. The pictures they have are updated and the rooms look nice, not sure if they just gave us a VERY outdated floor/ room but I will never suggest anyone to stay here. The walls were even so thing just talking to my partner in a normal tone a lady came over and complaint that she had to go to sleep. I'm sure there are much better options available around. I never do reviews but I had to share my experience so nobody else can make the same mistake as I did. Aside from the hotel itself the location is near everything but the neighborhood isn't the best I'd becareful at night. This hotel seems to be a hotel where you'd want to stay for emergency purposes and have no other choice. Or if your into hostels and hotels that remind you of a motel on the road. If your looking for somewhere for romantic trip, relaxation, or anything you'd like to enjoy don't stay here Save yourself the trouble and Look for more options.
Great rooftop bar with cheap drinks. The room was a little small and especially the bathroom shower was tiny. Breakfast was good, started early at 7. Wifi was a bit slow, but overall good for the money. Easy access to monastiraki station and airport line.
Good location . Close to metro station and market . Room is in the old renovated building but it is quite clean. Please don't expect anything fancy like new boutique hotel. Staffs are good .
The room was very nice and inexpensive for a modest hotel. It had reliable wifi, a nice balcony with a view of the acropolis, and was located in a central area of town. What earned the 5 stars is the staff, all the employees were very nice and helpful in recommending restaurants and arranging taxi pickups. Would stay again
Again Great hotel for location and cleaness. 2 minutes walk from monstrak metro station. Great view from the terrace roof watching the Acropolis.
Early March 2017. Duration of stay: 1 week.
My overall experience with this hotel: 85%.
Good buffet style breakfast for 8 Euros. Good wifi. If you travel with family or friends, there aren't enough plugs to charge your devices.
Customer service: The staff was polite and courteous. Panos is very helpful and accommodating to our needs.
Location: The hotel is strategically located near Monastiraki Station and is within walking distance to nearby restaurants and shops.
Solid three star hotel with clean rooms and new bathrooms. The rest is a little bit old. Staff was always nice. There is a rooftop bar which offers a very nice view on the Acropolis. Wifi is included but was very slow.
Located next to all the sights and the metro lines 1 & 3.
Not expensive, clean, basic room but wonderful shower. Great free wifi (unlike most other hotels in Athens, even the up market ones). Conveniently located in the centre of town. Roof bar has stunning views of the Acropolis.
Nice staff, good breakfast/dinner. No problems. This was listed as 4 star, but it the hotel is very old. I wouldn't consider this as 4 stars
