We stayed here on the last day of our honeymoon in October and could not fault it. We arrived late and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had dinner (also for our young son). The breakfast was also wonderful - plenty of choice and again, friendly staff. The room had been upgraded to a beautiful large room with sea view as the staff knew we were on honeymoon. There were also complimentary sweets and wine left for us. The efforts the staff made, brought our honeymoon to the perfect end. We would definitely visit again. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.
When we first checked in there was an issue in the main building where the air conditioning was not working, we had to be moved to a different room because they were not going to be able to get it fixed. The room we were in is a Bungalo and it looks nice but the main issue is spiders and general poor maintenance of the building. This used to be a Hilton property but is in very bad shape now. The pole on a very hot day there was about 60 people around it but not one single solitary person in it. It is very old and extremely dirty.
The beach for the hotel make sure you pay to use the chairs and a beach umbrella, eight euros on top of what you already paid to stay there. The food quality was mediocre at best, the waitstaff and everybody in the hotel that work there was extremely nice and did the best they could however I would not recommend staying in this hotel and less you want to pay top dollar for Third World country quality. They say it is a five-star hotel, I give them one star at best. Most hotels I look for a quiet, clean, and safe. I'm not sure if this qualifies on any of them. They have live bands playing till all hours of the night that that goes through out the entire property every single night so if you are early sleep in early riser this will not work for you at all. As I say I pay top dollar to stay there. Once again I will say I do not recommend this property, I am not sure if there are any better hotels on the island but certainly look somewhere else or go to a different country
Amazing view from most every room. Great food and lounge areas. The bar was fantastic and you MUST let George make you drink. George was reason enough to return. The little funicular to the beach was super convenient. Will absolutely return.
Fantastic hotel! The staff are very friendly and great fun. Plenty to do around the hotel during the day and at night. The bar staff are brilliant and the bar itself has different entertainment each night. The pool is gorgeous, with plenty of space and a clean pool, the pool bar staff are again brilliant. Very handy to the town centre with a bus stop just outside, or the reception staff are more than happy to order you a taxi. I highly recommend this hotel. Had a great time.
I loved the quaint dated European luxury feel. Like I was living in an old movie. Great views. Good restaurants. Lots to do. Beautiful pool. Nice beach access via an ingenious inclined tram. Fun bowling alley. This resort is tucked away yet still close enough to everything in town.
The view is excellent. There is a beach elevator and the beach is nice, you have a great view on the arriving and departing airplanes (from the water it's pretty interesting). The hotel is renovated but it doesn't really have a 5 star quality (i would say 4 is realistic). There was only one thing that was annoying: Saturday morning there was a notification next to the elevator: "Due to a wedding that takes place in the beach area 15/07/2017, the beach will close at 15:00, the pool area will stay open till late. Thank you" On the other hand it was probably a nice wedding on a great location.
A 5 star hotel that worth every penny, the hotel staff is no less than amazing, helpful, recommending and helping in any way possible, a rich and pampering breakfast, a varied and most satisfying dinner, the hotel pool is a saltwater pool and there is an additional indoor pool, an elevator will take you to the private beach of the hotel, unfortunately the water in this area was dirty and unpleasant - the reason is that it is actually a closed compound with no water exchange, the views from the hotel are no less than breathable (you may want to reserve one of the bungalow with a sea view rooms), The hotel is located near the landing strip but for us it was an experience (not something that is hard to get used to).
Next to the hotel is a bus stop (line 2), which for a cost of € 1.70 will take you in about 15 minutes to the city of Corfu, it is recommended to rent a car for the more distant parts.
In the vicinity of the hotel are several cafes and restaurants worth visiting (some of them very romantic).
I will definitely return to the hotel on my next visit to the island!
Las fotos de Corfu Palace y de Corfu holidays palace estan mescladas! !!!Under the name of Corfu holidays palace there are photos of Corfu Palace. Corfu Palace is a beautiful hotel, near the old town. Corfu holidays palace it is situated at Kanoni .So I don't know what the people are evaluating.
Nice hotel with a fantastic pool and a lovely little private beach. Efi, George and Agapi were all great and had a great time there.
The hotel itself is quite large but could maybe do with a little money being spent to update the interior. It's still quite nice but at times it did remind me of the classic look of the hotel from The Shining. Overall a good place to stay though.
We arrived on the 5th Oct.2016, having booked two standard rooms through Broadway Travel. Somehow, to our amazement, we were offered an upgrade to the 'Bella Vista' villa and had a most wonderful week with views to die for! What's more, the staff seemed delighted to do this for us. Although our experience was an unusual one, we found other aspects of the hotel very good - extremely good and plentiful food, lovely pool and surrounding grounds and impressive reception area. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were very well treated and will never forget such a lovely holiday. Thank you to the Holiday Palace.
A nice place to stay in Corfu town.
It's in a very good location, within walking distance of the Old Town where all the attractions are. It's also very close ( less than 2km ) from the airport.
The hotel is a little dated but it is kept clean. There is an outside pool and the spa area is being renovated ready for 2017.
Had a wonderful week in July, would definitely return to this hotel, I have only put 4 stars as we were breakfast only, which I must say there was a huge amount to choose from. WE were fortunate to be upgraded to a bungalow, which over looked the runway, I really thought I would have problem (I suffer from insomnia) all I can say is the beds were so comfortable - I actually slept like a log, the rooms were kept immaculately clean, well done to our maid, as my daughter is extremely untidy. Reception staff extremely helpful and polite and young men around pool did their up most to help, and dealing with some unpleasant guests. The bus service into town is so reliable, if fact I would say best bus service I have encountered. So if you are looking for a lovely week away with what I can I say are spectacular views, then this is the place for you.
