Coral Hotel Athens

A good hotel to go to during the summer in Greece, is Coral Hotel in Athens. A tip to book your vacation cheaper is to book it through Travelbird. This review will clarify some of the good and bad points of the hotel and a little info about the city.

Location

The hotel is located pretty good, because it is located in front of the beach and the subway. A downside is that the hotel is quite far from the center, so you will need to take the bus and the subway every time you want to go shopping or go to a decent restaurant. In Athens you might also come across some trouble whenever you want to buy a ticket for public transport, because most of the time the machines don’t work, because the coins get stuck in the machine and make them out of use.

Hotel

The hotel is taken care of and serves good food. Breakfast is included in the price and is really tasty. There is a lot of choice, but the choices are the same every day.

On the top floor there is an outdoor swimming pool, which isn’t always as nice because it depends on the weather. If you want to relax, you can use the jacuzzi and the sauna. There is also the possibility to request massages.

The staff is friendly and always there to help their customers. If you ask questions about the city and how to get to some places they are glad to help.

Room

The rooms are neat and the cleaning lady cleans the room every day.

The bathrooms are nice and clean. It is convenient that you receive care products, because you aren’t always allowed to take these on the plane with you. There are new towels every single day and the bed is always made. There is a balcony, a TV, a desk and a fridge. The WIFI is free and there is airconditioning.

Very disappointed. The room was smelling terrible because of humidity and very very old carpets. The feta at breakfast is anything but feta.

Excellent view of the sea from the hotel rooms.. Its on the sea front.. main Road directly facing the sea.. And facilities in the hotel are good. The reception is helpful..the breakfast is very good..the rooms are nice and cozy.. A must stay hoteli liked it !!

Great breakfast with a great view. The place was extremely noisy with a party above us one night, but quiet the rest of the time. Well-connected to central Athens by Tram (25 minutes).

The best part of Ahtens, beach cross the street, perfect breakfast, kind staff, good connectivity to city center, The only negative thing is small garage with limited number of parking lots inside.

This is an awesome place to stay. Including rooms, food, comfort, cleanliness & location Coral Hotel is perfect for us. The biggest factor though is the incredible service from reception to operation managers. Simply outstanding.

Beautiful landscape from the room. The quality of service was good and rooms was clean. I was in 2 different rooms, both was good standard, like the breakfast. Really suggested because close the marina and in a quite district full of restaurants and cafe. Suggested.
