  We stayed in Villa Dioni, which exceeded all our expectations. The gardens were beautiful with olive and palm trees and 3 separate seating areas. From the pool and garden we had stunning views over the town and the sea beyond. The air con and WiFi worked really well and the Villa was extremely well equipped. We were so comfortable there that for 2 days of our holiday we didn't go anywhere! It was easy to get taxis into town in the evening. Recommendations: Visit Desimi beach and the waterfalls near Nydri; hire a motorboat from Nydri and visit Meganissi and all the little coves; get a boat from Lefkada to either Porto Katsiki or Ekgremni beach (don't drive unless you have strong legs to get you up and down the cliff!); if you like waves the west coast beaches are good; best restaurant- 'Memories' in Lefkada Town Square.

  Our stay was in Villa Phedra. The house was just perfect! It has everything that a group may need - starting from a toaster, pancake top, various grills, etc. and ending with a powerful hair dryer and even a hair straightener. The pool is great just like the garden and the view is magnific. I took my showers in the fresh air under the sky all the time, at this amazing view. Maria was the perfect host, in the end she even gave us souvenirs :)
  The place is clean and beautiful just like the pictures! I recommend it and hope to visit it again! :)
