This hotel had everything you could need , nice rooms which was cleaned daily.
A pool, restaurant, with outdoor & indoor eating area.
Daily entertainment around the pool.
A large reception, & REALLY friendly staff, who would do anything for you.
There was also security staff always on duty.
The hotel is right on the beach, & bars a short walk away.
The breakfast has a good choice ,I would recommend the pancakes!
I would return to this hotel.
Just one niggle, the mosquito's..

Every morning someone comes to your room and politely asks if you want your towels washed. If you say yes, they take your towels away, wash them and return them six hours layer. That pretty much sums up the place for me.

It's an old type hotel. If you want a modern hotel then this is not for you. The beds are not standard, there is no fridge in my room. You may feel disappointed at first when you take a look at the rooms but you will get used to it and start enjoying the place.
You will meet a lot of people here. It is just by the sea so if your idea of a holiday is lying by the beach then this is for you. The weather is very good.
There are no WiFi in the rooms but you can get a free one at the reception area and the bar.response / report this review -

Great location, relaxing place with very friendly staff and perfect amenities. Could do with more choice at breakfast, but Resturant and bar meals are superb. Would come again and recommend if you require peace and quiet beach location.

We had the most relaxing holiday on record at Palm Beach. The staff were so welcoming and friendly so no request for assistance went unheard. The hotel as the name suggests is right on the most gorgeous beach we have seen, full of Palm trees as far as the eye can see. The local people and vendors are also the most friendly we have had the pleasure to meet. They don't have much in the way of material wealth but what the Gambian people do have is an immeasurable zest for life and a level of kindness towards others that will humble most people to the core. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Good location on the beach. Comfortable and friendly staff. There is a cheap massage service. A varied breakfast. A small shop in the hotel.

Wow! This was a lovely place to stay.
Friendly staff, allways smiling and checking if they can do anything for us.
The rooms are clean and nice, the best we've stayed in our holiday in 3.5 weeks traveling around in Africa.

When wanted food told we are closed security guard lamin Cham came to my room an tried it on with me when he didn't get what he wanted he sneaked out of the room really bad security both day an night I really hope no one uses this hotel

Have stayed here for 8 days, back in Jan. 2015. Enjoyed it very much!
The rooms are simple, but clean. Breakfast is simple, but very tasteful.
