  Probably the cheapest place to stay in Fajara. The vibe is pretty cool and the food isn't bad. The draft beer often tastes "sulfurous". A number of my friends have had issues with the manager. I've heard reports of bedbugs, and the mosquitos are awful. They do have mosquito nets though. All in all, a fairly reliably cheap place to stay though. You have to bargain with Shirrif to get a good price for the room though.

  They changed the agreed upon price of the room. Which was trashy and buggy. But the food is good. And the beer is nice.

  Mama's is super buggy and a lot of the nets have holes. The last time I stayed there, a price was agreed upon, and I paid. A few weeks later, I was meeting some friends there for drinks and the manager called me over to tell me that I owed him more money because he had changed the price of the room that I had stayed in and paid for WEEKS BEFORE. We got in a big argument and I haven't been back since. It was very unprofessional and upsetting. However, they have Julbrew on draft and a decent pasta dish if you're looking to save money and eat modestly.

  The atmosphere in Mamas is lovely, really friendly and tastful. The staff know how to make a really good experience for people and I love the attention to detail. We had fab food and saw some glorious live music there.
