The staff are very helpful and friendly, while remaining inconspicuous.
Admittedly, the hotel needs a significant degree of refurbishment. However, once we were relocated to a more suitable room (A Suite; cosier and has a balcony), we were more than happy.
The grounds of the hotel, including the pool, are extremely well kept, suitably attractive and just right for a brief and pleasant after dinner walk - and of course, enjoying the sun.
This is a reasonably afordable way of discovering the beautiful country that is The Gambia - and its wonderful people.response / report this review -

A great hotel at the Smiling Coast of the Gambia. Stayed here in October, while it was still fantastic weather.
The staff of the hotel is very helpful and goes through great lengths to ensure your stay is as comfortable as they can make it.
If you have the choice (and the budget) I recommend booking a suite. They are awesome!response / report this review
