Very nice and comfortable little hotel with a big pool and the staff is very Friendly but also working in Gambian time.

Hotel is nice. Get power cuts regularly so bring a torch if afraid of the dark. This hotel really works on "gambian time" so if you have a trip booked for the morning please order your breakfast the night before otherwise your be waiting over an over to get it.. Once you've ordered.
Swimming pool is small but lovely with a small toddler pool. If your out in gardens before 8 in the morning or after 5 in afternoon your see the monkeys.
You don't need plug converters for your electrical goods. Everything is 3 pronged.response / report this review -

Average food. Staff seemed to be on another planet, incapable of remembering who ordered what and delivering bills to wrong tables. Manager / owner constantly having to chase them up. This was with only 7 tables occupied so heaven help them if it ever gets busy

Calabash is 2minutes from the beach situated near a small african craft market serving nice food and drink very nice and they have rooms to let that are fully furniched with every appliance you need and three wi fi

Really looked after throughout our week there and cannot recommend them highly enough.
