The walk through the forest is fantastic. You get up close and personal with the green vervet monkeys and if you're really lucky you may catch a glimpse of the elusive red colobus monkeys. But beware, those naughty monkeys will steal the peanuts if your not careful.

It's a national park - actually it's the Ministry Department of Forestry. So really they shouldn't have an entry fee. You actually pay to see the monkeys, but luckily they do not stick to the borders of the park. Still enjoyable if you decide to go in to support the local business. And I love the monkeys - bring peanuts! :)

Monkeys are very friendly. They don't stole anything expect if you have peanuts in your hands.

You can buy peanuts from the same place you get the tickets.

Tickets costs about D200 per person, but if you are student in gambia or under 12 years old you get to see mobkeys for free.

The forest is full of monkeys, but in the past ther were cut off part of the forest for building.

Get up close and personal with monkey's whilst feeding them. You can buy monkey nuts here at 50D and the entry tickets cost 150D per person. I wouldn't bother with a guide unless you're looking to pay charity. Watch out for a guy called "Sam" he's a con man! he'll offer you excursions and ask for a deposit then you never see him again. BEWARE

It was good experience,I feed the monkey's with nuts we bought in the park and we had one stand on my partners shoulder which was so cute plus we spotted a red monkey when we were leaving and the guide told us we were lucky because the red once are not human friendly and to hide when they see people

Monkey park great to see and feed the monkeys. If you have children they will love it. On your way there everyone will try to sell you peanuts you can buy them at park which means your supporting park and volunteer workers. You must have guide you tip them at end.
Don't believe what they say about size of park as it is less than half the size now because of construction of new Chinese center being built. They tell you it can take 2-4 hrs to get round park not true 1.5 hrs that's if you stop and take your time.

This used to be a great tourist attraction but being knocked down to build on not as many monkeys and there quite scared but if you have nuts they feed off your hand take loads of nuts for them

It's a nice thing to go to in a morning. Entrance fee is 150 dalasi. Even though they tell you not to bring peanuts. Take them along monkey's come really close. And some of the birds as well they eat nuts of the ground. Easy thing to spend a morning at. Michael from The Netherlands

A great experience, so much wildlife in such a small park. Monkeys are very bold an will not hesitate to interact with you. Hint: bring peanuts. I throughly recommend this but make sure you use an official guide!
