Not the most westernised hotel, but that was a definite plus point to the holiday. I'm not going to mark them down for the power cuts, as it seems to just be part of Gambian life. The taxi controller happily went off shopping for wonjo and nborr nborr for us at the end of the holiday, and the fantastic bar maid Fatou even shared some of her birthday cake with us! Room was clean and comfortable, if a little basic. It did have Aircon, though, which was a more than welcome addition.
The pool was nice and cool, with a well placed set of steps/seats so you could sit in the water whilst next to the bar, and there were enough sunbeds that we never struggled to find one.
Food was ok, better than a weatherspoons and notably cheaper, they were happy to provide us with a packed breakfast when we left on an excursion before breakfast service.
The local taxi drivers were all helpful, especially paboy, and the restaurants and craft market just outside were all fantastic

The staff and entertainment here are phenomenal and your own private beach and driveway means no hassle from the bumsters! It is a great place for exploring Bakau (Kachikally Crocodile park is a 10 minute walk) and the beaches at Cape Point. A highlight was the pool and the food in the restaurant! The staff are attentive and friendly. The beds and pillows were a little too hard to sleep on comfortably throughout the night. This would be my only negative comment about the accommodation.

Great rooms, I have stayed in the huts which were spacious and had what I needed. I have also had a balcony room facing the sea which was lush. My girlfriend and I have been twice, the staff are friendly, food is good, rooms are clean.
