Opening hours are long and their prices are not too cheap. They have a take-away food service but you need to speak in Spanish to order as the staff do not understand English

There's a very good reason why the counter is packed with locals every lunchtime!

The plancha grill at the rear of Ransoms in watergardens might seem an intimidating proposition on a busy lunchtime but one taste of the Jamaica Chicken or Chicken Tikka roll will convince you of why it was worth the wait.

The ordering system is chaotic at times but don't be shy to pipe up and ask for what you want. The grill may be a hive of activity and if you wait for someone to notice you then you'll be hungry for a while but the ladies are always very friendly. .. they're just so damn busy!
