Apple has determined that, in a limited number of older generation 15-inch MacBook Pro units, the battery may overheat and pose a fire safety risk. Affected units were sold primarily between September 2015 and February 2017 and product eligibility is determined by the product serial number.

Its incredible how much of a difference an advisor can make leading up to the purchase of a product. I was so excited to find out more about the Macbook Air but unfortunately this gentleman changed my excitement into not wanting the product anymore. He was distant and didn't seem interested or bothered in wanting to sell it.

Today I passed by Newton to check if he was there again and to my delight he wasn't. This time round another advisor called Steve Bennett was a breath of fresh air. He went beyond his duties to help and advise us changing my perspective into a positive one. Steve Bennettwe will be back next week to purchase the Macbook Air!! Thank you for your excellent service and the time you spent with us.

Newton Store and Heiko, I would like to Thank Heiko for his perseverance in dealing with Apple over my MBP warranty repair which Apple refused three times. Heiko went above and beyond fighting my corner with Apple to make for one very happy customer. I would highly recommend Newton for this.

My iMac was playing up and was unable to 'do' anything except demonstrate the rainbow wheel turning. I have Apple Care Protection on the iMac. Having spent hours on the phone with the Apple support technicians the Apple Care recommends and getting nowhere I gave up on that source of help and instead went into Newtons to ask for help. I was very happy to find out that Newtons are an authorised site for repairs under this care package and was able to take my Mac in straight away, with no appointment required. They were able to run a diagnostic test and identified that the hard drive needed replacing. The part was ordered, and installed in my iMac within the agreed timescale and all was free of cost, hassle and stress (except close enough parking). Heiko was exceptionally helpful and efficient plus considerate regarding data stored on my Mac and I would not hesitate to return with any issue at all. All was very professional. There is even a procedure to check the unit for external damage before you leave it there so that any issues can be identified upon collection - just like hiring a car! No need to cross the border and explain to customs, nor go to La Canada Apple Store! Brilliant!!!

I run Intelligent Eating, I NEED my phone - without it, I have problem, it costs me money, but also I have a heart condition (one which I was born with and so being able to call 999 should I need to very reassuring to me).

The tech you have in your shop was great - really really helpful and friendly and intelligent and we diagnosed the problem within minutes. Compare that to an official Apple store "make an appointment" zzzz.

As a result, though - myself and my partner walked out with nice new iphone 7+ phones; and you let us use your wifi for icloud restore and so on.

Great service, really really impressed - so thank you massively :)

I have gone to Newtons Store many times with problems with me not understanding the IPad and they have always been very helpful ,even when the shop was full they asked me to wait and was attended ,they go out of their ways to try and solve the problem for you ,customer service is 100% and really if what you want is not in stock they cannot make it appear like a magician ,things have to be ordered and sent here but some people have no patience but I am a very happy customer and they serve you also with a smile ,well done yo you all ��
