Excellent authentic Italian food.
They don't make Pizza, but the starters and Pastas are excellent, as are the wines.

Food was very good. Good use of spices and oil. Quite enjoyed the vegetarian mezze style appetizer. Mushroom Ravioli was quite nice as well.

Not many signboards to direct you to the restaurant. I was welcomed at the door, drinks order was promptly taken, wine was good, excellent selection South African and Italian wines. Food order was taken by the Italian owner in person, excellent variety on the menu. The waiters are well trained, they know their menu well. The food was presented excellently, and the desert was to die for! Fresh strawberries and cream. Grappa and espresso to end a perfect meal. What a diamond in the rough! The restaurant was 95% full with more patrons arriving as we left at 9:30.
