The motel has a beautiful view, and the rooms are in an average condition. The restaurant serves okay food with around an hour wait. Unfortunately the breakfast opens at 7am where the morning safari also starts, so we had a bit of a diskussion before they agreed to pack us breakfast. Also the kitchen closes at 7pm, which is where the night safari starts, so you have to eat before, or skip dinner. Last the swimmingpool was milky and dirty, and were had to ask them, to fish out the molded bread. A great thanks to the waiter Jonathan, that was always polite and kind to hele us out, unlike a lot og his colleges.

The smaller size of this national park gives it an edge when compared to NPs in Kenya. The reason being smaller number of visitors. The nature doesn't seem so exploited.
Downside is the accommodation in the Mole hostel. The staff is nice Just everything, eg. ordering food takes ages. It is not an exception to wait 90 min for lunch. The rangers are really helpful. Expect to see many elephants. Maybe buffallos. Other large species seem to be rare in the area.

I visited Mole National Park in June 2017 and overall had a very good experience. The rangers associated with the Mole Park were engaging and informative. They happily answered all of our questions and told us a lot of information about the park, the animals, and the area. If you are going I would recommend the walking safari over the driving safari as we saw more diverse animals during the walk. Our group had a negative experience with the motel staff on a few occasions. Service in Ghana isn't very good to begin with but the staff at the motel did not tell us that food is only served at certain times so while they might take your order you may not get your food for hours (we waited almost three hours in total). We were also advised to pay our bill after every meal instead of adding it to the room tab because there was concern of fraudulent charges that would have to be disputed. They also took an order for our dinners ahead of time in the afternoon but then forgot to bring it out at dinner. Generally, the service staff seemed annoyed when they had to, well, serve us, which made us all feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. But the safari is amazing.

I think waiters are kind of pushy. But it's a great place to be. You need to order meals way ahead of time and waiters make it feel like it's wrong to take your time when looking through the menu. It's a quiet place and you'll get a good sleep. You should watch out for the baboons though. Lol

Great location for wildlife tours and ambient wildlife. Accommodation and food reasonable. Bird watchers paradise. Having warthogs, baboons and monkeys wandering around the motel is something to experience.

Have been here twice. Used the economic room version.
Room and staff OK.
Food good.
Safari stuff especially the drivers need a training in Kenya or South Africa how to get closer to shy animals without let them running away always!

I just went to mole last week and it was a wonderful and amazing experience. The food was delicious and very appetizing. The rooms were neat and clean and also very spacious. The service there was great. The safari was the best part.

Mole Motel has a fantastic view, a good pool and restaurant, and decent rooms which come at very low rates. The rooms are comfortable, but haven't been properly maintained for years. In between safaris is great to hang out by the pool, enjoy the view and chat with other guests.
