It's always nice to see my people. Ambiance and everything is nice. The lounge looks nice. Bar is okay. The music you enjoy in the lounge is one of the best, especially in the evening.
One of the hotels I will recommend if you are visiting Accra. It's very close to the airport. The environment is great, their food is superb. There is usually a lot of activities here in the evenings for your entertainment. The rooms are big enough so you do not feel like your in a tight space.
Best hotel in Kumasi. Highly recommended to anyone able to afford it. Good breakfast and service. Wifi is acceptable. Rooms are super clean
Beautiful and serene environment, clean and well organized. Respectful waiters and receptionist
Staff can be given more human relation coaching to enable for a more excellent service delivery
Review based on common areas only. For only 150cedi per month you can have an unlimited pool membership. I come here several times per week to escape. Nice pool scene. Common facilities are well-maintained. You can enjoy poolside drinks and food. If you are staying for an extended time in Kumasi and are looking for something of an escape (but not staying AT the Golden Tulip), I highly recommend inquiring about pool membership.
There is also a gym membership available for 300cedi/month or 30 cedi per use. I do not use it but have toured and it is very complete.
Good place generally. The greenery is unmatched, great gym and swimming pool and very spacious. However, they need to work on their turnaround time. I've stayed here several times and realised that it takes them too long to return a request. For instance, I called for an item (towel) from the housekeeping and after three follow up calls received it after 1hr, 20minutes.
Stayed at the Golden Tulip Kumasi for 4 nights in January. It is a very nice and comfortable hotel, with good food. There is a spa (including hair dresser) and gym, plus other business facilities. Service was good. Be warned that the gym does not appear to have Air conditioning however (although it is in the basement and kept rather cool).
I had a great stay even though it was just a day stay.
A large and good hotel where to stay in Kumasi. Room are fine. Very big swimming pool. Breakfast ok.
The atmosphere has changed tremendously seems like they are not very selective of who they let into their establishment anymore!!! Rather unfortunate.
Good atmosphere for a weekend getaway
The environment is really breathtaking. Beautiful scenery and amazing ambience. Just that the washroom at the pool is
Nice place. Good for executives.
Great views, wonderful meeting rooms and sleeping places
For a stay in Kumasi, either for business or leisure I guess Golden Tulip is the best option. However, the buffet menu always lacks variety. I expect more than rice dishes always on display.
Went there for lunch. Restaurant service was very poor. Waiters talking to you any how, and keeping you waiting for long. To top that off, food was horrible tilipia was burnt, banku was stale, and some orders were mixed up.
Perfect place to enjoy buffet with your family. Delicious meals. Try their special pizza, it's the best in town
Best in Kumasi. good by international standards. many facilities nice atmosphere and courteous personnel
Love the place because of the exhibitions held there let alone the beautiful rooms, very spacious hall, good cool music and lips whetting foods especially at night hours.
Luxury hotel; rooms i lived in smell of smoke, although they were non-smoking
World class hotel facilities. Amazing swimming pool. However food is not exceptional, also usually small in quantity (except for the huge chicken pieces).
Golden Tulip Kumasi city provides world class standards to its enticing environment. What I really like about this place is the laundry. Amazing services and human relations . The bar and restaurant accept debit and credit cards. There's a standard valet services as well as a spaciuos parking space.
Usually I just come to use the pool for a day. You pay GHc20/person&day at the reception and get a towel for the relaxers. The pool is nice to chill but not designed for swimming rows or anything of that sort. While it gets a bit crowded on weekends and public holidays, during the week there are not a lot of guests around. From a European point of view, the service quality is very low. I know, it's Ghana and not Europe, but as the Golden Tulip is charging Western prices, I had expected more.
