The quality of service you get for the money you pay is astonishing I enjoyed the meals too. It's the best place for family dinners and hangouts

I spent three nights at this hotel in May 2018.

Positive:
- It is a very nice hotel with great view over the ocean, the golf and the pool.
- Breakfast was included and generous.
- There was free luggage storage and a free airport shuttle as well.
- The hotel was also well adapted for people with physical disabilities, with ramps everywhere and efficient elevators.

Not so positive:
- My room was too close to the elevators and the door the door that led to it made a lot of noise every time it closed. It woke me up a few times.
- I ordered a pizza from room service and called to cancel it after 90 minutes, as it wasn't ready yet.
- I tested the massage and hairdresser: the massage was Ok but I was disappointed by the haircut. The hairdresser did not pay enough attention to details, like checking that both sides were of equal length.

Verdict: I would go back for the view and the hotel in general. I might give room service another try but I will definitely not get my hair cut again there.

This hotel is one of the best in the oil City, the Western Region of Ghana. The rates are moderate and affordable.

Atlantic Hotel provides value for money with consistent, first-class quality service and a variety of experiences. Competition within the area is keen, but the hotel holds its own as the standard. Growing up, I lived in the neighbourhood and still visit family there. Whether for business or pleasure, Atlantic Hotel is worth the time.

Excellent facilities and amenities. The ocean view was breathtaking and the scenery was outstanding.
The service was great and we had a very pleasant stay.
I would return anytime i get the opportunity and would recommend this hotel to all visiting Takoradi

Best western Plus is a revival of the old Atlantic hotel in Takoradi. About the closest hotel close to the ocean in Takoradi. Amazing view from the top floors both at night and during the day. Sitting and watching is most relaxing. I liked their staff and facilities. Great pool area, bars, restaurants, sauna and gym. The room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best we had and the attendants are really friendly. A few things that might make the stay much much close to a 5star rating: towels and bathroom furnishing were not as pristine as I would have loved, even though I loved the design and neatness (maybe I have an unusual taste or demand).

I will do Best Western anytime and will absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a great and luxurious hotel to spend the time whiles in the western region.

PROS
- I loved the swimming pool
- great view from my hotel room
- fast and large wifi coverage
- enjoyed the breakfast menu and sitting

CONS
- ac wasn't working at the reception and corridors
REVISED: ac started working on my last day as i was leaving
- Christmas tree still up weeks into the new year 🤔🤔🤔

I loved loved this place!!! Sleeping there isn't that cheap but I think it's worth it if you can afford it. The ladies at the reception were very friendly when we went in. We requested for a room with a good view which we got and we had a sea and pool side view.

The room was clean and spacious

At night, there was live music which we enjoyed whilst eating some banku and tilapia.

Breakfast was amazing! It was my first time in a hotel which served Ghanaian and intercontinental breakfast. There was Fante Kenkey, waakye, red red, fried fish and a variety of what you'll see the local Ghanaian having for breakfast. I liked this about the hotel.

We stayed there for only a night as we had to drive back to Accra the next day

This is a lovely place to be. The view from the rooms are marvelous showing the pool area and the sea. The staff were friendly and breakfast was awesome. This is a nice place to go to for both business and leisure.

Great view. Was having issues with the WiFi but the tech support (James) was understanding and got the issue solved. The breakfast buffet was delicious. However the reception desk doesn't understand the concept of customer service. They have a ready made no for every request of your's. Need to revamp their reception staff.
