We had a great experience at Aylos Bay. The food and service was impeccable, especially the chicken curry and shrimp sauces were memorable! I really appreciated the fact that food was affordable, ranging from 20-40 cedis for a generous plate. Despite providing higher standards accommodation the food is charged the right price, making it an affordable place for everyone

A very lovely and serene environment. Closest you can get to nature on a waterfront.

Food was great and wholesome. And the staff were friendly. The garden could do with some more lighting though.

Prices are ok but the food was not really good. Additionally, the service was horrible. We went to the restaurant with a group of 10 people and after 6 people had received their main dishes after 1 hour (a few starters were missing by that time already), the waiters realized that 4 main dishes were missing. So they made the people order again and needed another 45 minutes to serve the main dishes.

I do not recommend that place - there a lots of nice restaurants next door.

Great budget place, straff really friendly and the surroundings breathtaking. I sat for hours by the river just reading and watching sunsets. Stayed in the dorm, only guest. The beds were good and the value okay too. The guest houses were a bit over priced unfortunately and an old issue of Lonelyplanet was stating something like 60Cedis, but in reality it's closer to 200. Other than that, great stay and recommend it to someone who's looking for budget friendly

Well I can't say much about the rooms but I know their dormitory is 50 cedis per person, I did camping and I was charged 30 for camping and 20 for a firm comfortable bed. Beautiful scene , I loved it .

Nice area and atmosphere. Directly on the riverside. Dorm is recommended as well as the restaurant. Affordable and tasty although no bbq.

Have been on this place several times. The room was not very proper clean - I leave it like that now. Hope I can come back one day to check again. Very nice place at river Volta. Nice people, food good.

You get what you pay for here and we really liked it. Spent one night by the river where they have small docks that you can have a drink or meal look out to the stunning views. I would say the rooms need an upgrade and clean but most of your time can be spent taking in the surroundings anyway.

I love to visit this place, sit under the summer hut suspended on the Volta River, watch the Adomi Bridge from a distance and enjoy some alone time. I could sit here all day! They also serve the choicest local delicacies at moderate prices. I won't advice swimming in the river though as there are chances of being infected with Schistosomiasis.
