    It's a rather small place but if you take the guide you'll have an interesting little tour.

    This is a place to visit for the wonderful scenery, not so much the art work.

    NIKO PIROSMANASHVILI STATE MUSEUM IN MIRZAANI
    Located in Kakheti, Dedoplistskaro Municipality, Village of Mirzaani; Distance from Tbilisi -135 km;

    The Museum offers to visit dwelling house of 20th century legendary Georgian artist Nicko Pirosmanishvili (1862 - 1918) where several of his original works are presented in the exhibition halls. At the same time several pictures of the most celebrated Georgian artists are presented here, coupled with the world-famous lithograph of Pablo Picasso ‘Pirosmanishvili Portrait’. The museum possesses also the unique collection of old handmade kilims and carpets one of which was weaved by the artist’s mother. The museum has got rather large set of ethnographic material that clearly reflects traditional lifestyle of the historical province of Kizikhi.

    Opening hours: 10:00 – 17:00, every day except Mondays.

    Помимо музея и гида который интересно рассказывает. Здесь просто приятно гулять по парку и в солнечный день любоваться красочными видами на горы и алазанскую долину.
    Вход 3 лари с человека и гид 15 с группы. Без гида не интнрестно.

    Здесь мало бывает туристов из России. Тем, кто имеет какое то отношение к живописи будет интересно. Домик где родился Пиросмани ( с утварью того времени), музей, где есть оригиналы его работ. Вход 3 лари взрослому, 1 ребёнку . Есть экскурсовод на русском.

    Музей старый, ещё с советских времен. Домик чисто мемориальный. В несуразном по архитектуре здании выставки 14 картин Пиросмани и других грузинских художников на близкие темы.

    The view of the plains and the Caucasus mountains is spectacular (especially at dunset), but the museum has a limited collection, and it is a bit off the beaten track.
