Great place and Eldar is a fantastic friend! We have been here three times, at the last one we have called him late at the evening of St. George day (a great holiday in Georgia, everybody celebrating, nobody working :) ). He managed to arrange rooms for us, moreover, he had found a taxi that picked us up from a real wilderness (Charekauli).
Last (but not least) - mostly exciting wine museum, excellent wine, tasty cousine, nice rooms Real paradise! I'd like to come here again and again!

Lovely place. More so for wine enthusiasts. Better to go with a local guide or driver. Historic place. Can taste both grapes and wines. Buy as well.

Looks nice. But no parking nor reception. The location does bot match google map and guidance signages are not enough. Struggled.to find it.

הייתי לפני כשנתיים במקום המיוחד הזה, אז מוזיאון היין של התאומים כמעט היה גמור. ניתן היום לראות בו אמפורות חימר ענקיות אשר משמשות לייצור היין העתיק לפי המסורת הגיאורגית, האמפורות יושבות בתוך הקרקע השומרת על טמפרטורה אחידה וקרירה בשל גובה המקום וכך בתהליך תסיסת היין ניתן להביט דרך חלונות אליהן מוצמדות האמפרות שנחתכו במיוחד לטובת הקהל. במקום מוגשות כמובן טעימות של היין המיוצר במקום יין אדום אדום יבש וחצי יבש ויין לבן. מסעדה כפרית מגישה שם את מיטב האוכל הגיאורגי המסורתי הפשוט והטעים - כמובן עם יין ולפי הנוהג המקובל של הכנסת האורחים הגיאורגית. כל איזור חבל קחאתי הוא האיזור העיקרי של גידול ענבי היין בגיאורגיה מסורת של מעל 7000 שנה עם כ 350 זני ענבים. ממליץ בחום לקחת כמה ימי טיול בשמורה הקרובה לגודאחי.
