Bad experience, won't necessarily happen to you! The place might have been alright, however, I went in the off-season and there were some foreign workers staying in the room, who smoked inside, and nobody cared, even though there was a sign not to do that. The room looked a mess too - beds not made, not clean, stuff lying around, etc.. Since nobody needs to show their passport in such places in Georgia, I didn't feel right and left the next day to somewhere else. Pros - the room was warm, however the bathroom is accessed through outside.

Friendly, family ambiance, always a smile and some nice food on the table to share. We stayed 3 nights with our 5 years old in one of the private rooms, and we totally recommend the place. Clean, WiFi available, possible to do your laundry, to cook, what else does anyone need?

We arrived late without booking but the owner welcomed Us with open arms. He is very hospitable. Rooms and restrooms are clean and meals are delicious. I recommend this place to everyone :)

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this hostel. The landlord was very welcoming - he invited us to the real Georgian feast and told the stories about his country. The room fee was relevant and our neighbours were very conversable!

I very much recommend this place. Nice hosts who are helpful in every respect. They picked us up at the train station, gave us a warm welcome and served a delicious meal. The rooms are nice and a there is a lot of place to hang around and chat to people.
