Beautiful place to go, Huge Landscape, delicious food, Friendly people. Hotel is made of old, vintage georgian style furniture and ornaments.

The Chateau is nice for those who need some peace and quiet, ideal as stopover for a tour. Great for photos. Shower water though needs more volume, bed is comfortable. Humour quotations add cheers, kids and families may love the two pools. Staff are youthful. Some help needed upon check-in, no lift, stairs are wide.

Lovely place designed in a very old style. The restaurant offers great food. This place has perfect views over Alazani valley. Swimming pool is cozy. The outdoor space is lovely. Expats love this place for some obvious reasons. Restaurant serves yummy foods, but is is pricey. The hotel rates are high too, comparing to other places in the area.

I came here for just a meal. And it is the best meal we've had at Georgia. The decor is lovely. In the middle of a gorgeous landscape. The owners are friendly and just real people. We had the tomato salad (don't underestimate how amazing this is), I went for seconds. And The mushrooms were amazing. I would recommend this place. And I would trust whatever they serve! I would even bet that to stay here would be equally pleasant and an amazing experience. May want to do that myself if I come back to Georgia

The hotel's theme is outstanding. The views are awesome. It is also close to downtown (Telavi). The swimming pool is great too. However, the overall quality of services is average and the room service is sometimes disappointing.

The place is realy nice looks like a small castle ,the view of the restaurant is good but not the best because it is located on the ground floor, the decoration is in the theme of a castle but a little confusing with chairs ,tables plants and grass all together

We wanted to make a wine tasting at Chateau Mere, but after our arriving we were informed that there was no wine tasting. Because of that we actually wanted to order a bottle (or more) of wine and we asked the only English-speaking person in the Chateau for wines they produce themselves. At first she did not know how to answer and she had to ask what wine was made by the chateau. She could not give us any more information about the wines, and a gentleman (presumably the manager) sat next to her, claiming that the prices in the card were not right. Everything was suddenly twice as expensive. In addition, he seemed very arrogant and seemed to be enjoying himself with the staff above us. Absolutely not to be recommended - there are definitely better places in Telavi to try wine, where people are actually interested in telling you something about their own wine!

The hotel has a nice small yard, two outdoor swimming pools, a very good restaurant with a great choice of delicious food. The issue I had was the noise in the room coming from all over the hotel. Also if you prefer evening walks, you will have no option for that.

Old stile building with very nice interior. Excellent food! Very nice view and crystal clear air. Nice location to stay for a couple days so you can visit all over the Kakheti region. Two nice swimming pools, very attractive during hot season. Wooden floors makes it a bit noisy, you can hear people working up, nevertheless that does not disturb. Personnel need some improvements, but in general quite okay. Languages English German Russian. Be sure to have a wine tasting!
