Atskuri (Georgian: აწყურის ციხე) is a Georgian feudal fortress on the right bank of the Mtkvari (Kura) River, approximately 30 kilometres from Borjomi, in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region.

Built in the 10th century, Atskuri Fortress was an important stronghold for the defense of Georgia during the Medieval ages.

It's an ancient fortress built in 11th century, but now it's in a very poor condition, it's very difficult now to climb there, but as I know government is planning to construct it.
