Very interesting facility. Offering night guided tours and possibility to look through telescope and observe moon and planets.

This site is a lengthy ride up a narrow winding mountain road, but the road is mostly has gaurd rail and recently renovated. Glorious fresh air, forest and if lucky starry clear skys. In the evening for a modest fee of 6 lari, you csn gaze at the stars, and see the museum room. The observatory is splendid. We viewed the bright start sirius. The planets of mars and jupiter were no up til 3 am, but are in the early evening sky in August. The Milky way blanketed tge sky. Go on a clear night.

A perfect place and a point of improvement. Due to the sky conditions, it could be the best point of space work in Europe.

Very much liked guide guy, very kind and knowledgeable. Just make sure you go there when no clouds to fully observe the space, otherwise any way good place to visit and get to know the first observatory in the region built in 1932!!!

Observatory has hotel, where one can stay in the nature. Tours are provided, that include looking through the telescope at night, as long as the sky is clear.
