Amazing place. Nice location, away from public. Feels like you've got the whole resort to yourself

    The Wellesley.
What an absolutely stunning place. Surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens in a remote part of the coral coast.
It has the most amazing views, a beautiful pool and gorgeous beach with white sand, and a beautiful lively lagoon full of fish and coral.
It's paradise here and only made more enjoyable by the extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Special thanks to Talica, Sue, Jay, Mili, Sabir and all the rest of the friendly staff.
Sabir the main gardener will say hello and bring you a coconut, bananas or papaya, and take you fishing off the beach which is just perfect and easy and he'll almost gaurantee you'll catch something.
Go on one of the walks with him, we went to the top of the ridge which was amazing with a great view from the top of the hill, he showed us plants and fruits and all sorts along the way.
Our room was perfect, stylish, large and comforable and paying a few extra dollars for the Pool Villa was absolutly worth it.
You get an unlimited supply of bottled water and a small fridge to put it in, wifi and a flat screen TV, and air con.
There is room service and the restaurant overlooks the pool and the ocean.
They have cocktail of the day (personal favourite was..anything because they're all tropical and well made!).
The food at the restaurant is fantastic! For breakfast, the omlette or Wellesley breakfast were a stand out.
For dinner, plenty of different options to try, the pizza's are really good and Tuna dishes in coconut cream are delicous.
They also have a steak, fried chicken, prawns and they will even cook the fish you catch! We were lucky enough to catch some snapper and it was cooked to perfection.
Car hire is just a phone call away with the local company, at good prices.
If you love a remote getaway and staying away from the tourist traps, this place is for you!
Anyone who rated this place low and haven't put a reason should be ignored.

This hotel is excellent, the staff is very helpful, the pools are beautiful, the food is exquisite, the beach is nice and the views it offers, better. The rooms are always clean and are very comfortable. But the road to arrive into the hotel is terrible, it needs urgent restoration and gardening. Thanks people for making my stay perfect.👍💓

We had a great time at Wellesley Resort, the location is perfect, in the middle of tropical forest. The food is amazing, so is the friendly staff. We enjoyed the walks with locals when you can learn about, see and taste local nature. We spent a lot of time snorkeling, kayaking and swimming. We recommend it for those who want to escape the crowds as it is a small and isolated place.

Idyllic for the lost getaway. If you want hustle and bustle, go somewhere else.

Very beautiful place full of nice people. Don't buy the WiFi it's not worth it at all. But besides that was awesome. Great food. Dec pool. Free tours around the area run by them. And very good air conditioning. More of place for couples but would be good regardless.

I had a blast can not wait to return. If you are looking for seclusion in paradise this is it. The locals are friendly and would love to show you where they live. I was suppressed to find out that it sits right in front of a wild sea life reserve with the biggest clams we have ever seen. The beach was what you see in a calendar totally perfect. This is not a place with a night life. Its a place for scuba and relaxation.
