  As a novice diver I really enjoyed my two dives (2 dives with two tanks each) with the instructors at Kai Wai Ocean Sports. I had just taken my Open Water certification the week before my trip to Fiji and I felt both secure and welcome on each trip.
  The dive spots were great, with beautiful corals, fish, turtles, giant clams, etc.
  
  I had a great experience, and can only recommend them.

  I had four excellent dives with Kai Wai. The shop was located at my hostel which was extremely convenient. Their rental gear was surprisingly high quality, they even include wrist mount computers in their rental package. Group sizes are guaranteed to be small. I believe their boat will only carry 6 guests. Though Nadi is a bit far away from good dive spots, they didn't skimp on the fuel to get to the best sites, conditions permitting. One of our dives had a bit of current and our guide, Stefan, did a great job of explaining how to dive in it safely and our group stayed together just fine. Being a dive professional myself, I can be a bit snobbish but this was a great shop to dive with.
