I've stayed at a lot of hotels and this one probably has been the worst, from horrible owners who could care less to listen to complaints, to the dirty blankets and get this while I was out they called me and said they double booked my room and wanted me to move rooms. I told them I willing if they were going to compensate for it, when I got back they had moved all my stuff to a different room with no compensation and could care less that I was missing a small bag. The staff was willing to help but the owners wouldn't allow them too.
Save yourself and book the "uprising hotel" instead.

    WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
    1. Resort? What resort? I did not see any feature of the supposedly acclaimed Resort and there was nothing friendly nor anything whatsoever outstanding that would make a guest or locals want to frequent this horrible insult of a "resort"

    2. The rooms are expensive and not worth it. Aside from the o so very small and congested room, the double bed should make any tight couple fight to choose which side of the bed they prefer to fall off the edge from. Not worth the money.

    3. Food and beverage prices are unbelievably overly expensive. If you suffer or potentially likely prone to a heart risk disease, I implore you for your life's sake not to go over the menu and prices.

    4. The place is still undergoing a form of expansion and rennovation as such. Not a really good sight to see each morning. Their man made lagoon has left the water stagnant leaving it to produce a foul smell that happily kicks your nose in throughout the day.

    5. Lastly but most importantly. The staff are friendly but after meeting the owner of the resort and her friend manager, i can honestly say that i will never come to this place again. Not only were they rude, degrading and insulting; they as a duo were very selective in attending to guest complaints. As locals and paying guests (key words being paying and guests) , we thought we were also priveleged to the ease of stay experienced by other equally paying tourist guests i.e. to have a rowdy night through laughter. It was very biased and selective at that, that we were disturbed by neighboring tourist guests who were under the influence of alcohol through the night but when it came to the locals night of having laughter without the influence of alcohol, we were somehow warned that other guests were complaining and were threatened that she would have us leave the premises immediately.

    Whole story short.
    Dont bother.
Keep scrolling for hotels or resorts in the Tavua or Rakiraki area.

It wasn't great. Not much to do apart from Canoeing and Swimming in the very small pool. Seemed to be still under construction when we went. Rooms are not good. Lights in rooms are not bright enough/there aren't enough. The beds are not that comfy and very close together. Food was terrible. Indian food was very average and everything else was horrible.

If a little bottle of sprite costs you $5.50 and the management is really snooty would you want to give them your business. The rooms were not what they said and instead of treating you like a guest the more like treated you as a burden. BAD EXPERIENCE FOR AN EXPENSIVE STAY.

We stayed here from 7th to 9th August 2016, it was a birthday gift for my sister. We arrived early and we were allowed to check in early. We enjoyed our stay. Not only it's a beautiful location but the staff are great and so friendly. Overall excellent service was provided to us. Yes meals at the hotel restaurant are expensive but it's yummy. You can get meals from near by town. I wouldn't mind staying there again. thank you for a pleasant stay.
