Absolutely loved it here, everything was good EXCEPT hair brading, don’t waste your time. I went in and got a full head braid and I was disappointed. It only lasted half a day then went back and got them to book me another time and they did. After I got it redone they charged us. Definitely NOT worth $90 and then another $40

We spent a week on Sonaisali at the Hilton after our wedding. My brother and his wife also stayed. This is a beautiful clean Hotel and very comfortable rooms. There are limited activities to do on the resort but the staff do try and encourage people to get up off the banana lounge and participate in activities throughout the day and night. The swim up bar is great and the pool is very nice. There is a small beach at the southern end of the island but I would not suggest swimming in the ocean as there was brackish water out the front of the beach from the river. I would not recommend this accommodation for children as it had a mature atmosphere and as mentioned earlier there are limited activities to do on the island itself.

    Very nice and quite place.
Really beautiful hotel, very friendly staff, the breakfast buffet is a must if you stay here.
You need ti know that the hotel its about 15 to 20 min to Nandi town. The best and cheap way if transportation is local taxi

Excellent place to stay, spent a week here and had a fantastic time. Thanks to all the staff who are super friendly and helpful all the time. Great place to relax for some downtime also has a few activities like pool, gym, pool tables etc. Local dairy on site and tourist shop as well along with a tour desk for the bookings etc.

Fantastic place for a family holiday. No, it doesn't have a great beach, but I don't like the beach and the pool, service, and resort grounds make up for it. Food is good, it's what you'd expect from a Fiji resort. The international food was nice, but the fijiian food was the best. Kids club and Nanny service was amazing, our kids loved it and we will be going back!

Prices are 3 times more expensive than anywhere in Fiji. $50/person for an open buffet and the food is not even half decent. Laundry prices are too expensive $6+ to wash a tie.. $36 for a margarita when you can buy it for $19 at other resorts. Room service has a $7 delivery fee even though our room is literally 20 meters away from the kitchen. The reason everything is so expensive here is because the resort is quite far from everywhere else and you have no choice but to buy from them. Do your research and compare prices before booking. Apart from that they have a nice bar pool.

Awesome place to stay. Free breakfast with a great variety which was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had in Fiji & we usually stay in Denarau. The bure we stayed in was superbly clean & tidy which we really appreciated. Robes, slippers, ironing board & even an umbrella? They had everything we needed in our room. Bed was super comfy. We will definitely stay here again. Only critique would be slow checkout at front desk otherwise i would have given a 5, but aside from that, staff were very friendly. Well done Double tree!😆

I am in love. Rooms are gorgeous with air-conditioning. Views are incredible. Pool is so beautiful and lovely to swim in. People here are amazing, helpful and so friendly. We just wanted some where to go and relax and have so loved it here and can't wait to come back. Bar in pool is so neat, restaurants served a good variety of food at reasonable prices and happy hour every night for 3 hours. Beach water is warm but not blue like coral coast, but as we are not sea swimmers, it did not bother us at all.

Great, relaxing place. Very pretty resort with friendly staff. Although a bit isolated. And the food could be better.

Absolutely love it! The staff is super helpful and friendly. The place is exactly what you see on the internet.
But the sand is a lot small rocks and quite hard also the ocean is not for swimming, food was a bit pricey but there's not much choices in town. Over all is worth to stay with you family and friends! Take a break and enjoy the hotel facilities!

This resort is okay. The food is below average for a 170 USD per night hotel, and the room we were staying in had geckos 🦎 living in the walls. The staff however are extremely friendly and go out of there way to make sure you are comfortable. The pool is freezing, even for 85 degree weather. The ocean is absolutely terrible in the spot the resort is on the water, as there is a lot of oil mixed with the sand so the water is not clear at all, and the sand has a very slimy texture to it.

Overall, for the price, probably not worth it.

Had a great experience here in May! Very comfortable beds and a wonderful pool! Friendly helpful staff. I would have liked more lighting in the room but that was very minor. The air con was lovely and so was the deck facing the ocean! Pretty good food and drinks too with a great breakfast selection.

The hotel where everyone knows your name.
Everyone introduces themselves, tell you their name asks yours and remembers you all the time you are there! Great! This is a family boutique hotel with lots of kids in the pool if they are not being entertained by the kids crew. Main restaurant overlooks the pool with bar in it. Another restaurant is on the otherside where you can wiggle your toes in the sand while you watch the sunset Apartments face the sea. Food is fantastic! Award winning chef Jean-Paul and his sous chef make steak, pasta, pizza, curries, fish and a seafood platter for 90 FJD. They grow their own produce so it is dead set fresh. ½ hour from airport. This is the place to relax on a sunbed in the shade of the palm trees or play tennis, walk the garden, ride the horses. No beach though.

I have never posted a review before for anyplace. We only spent a couple nights here before heading of to another destination. The staff here was incredible! We felt we were leaving friends behind. We would love to return and spend more time at this resort and explore more of this beautiful country and the amazing, welcoming people that live here.

Quiet location. Could be a bit isolated for some. Beach no good for swimming, wrong side of island. Restaurant is good but depending on what you order can be pricey. Menus can be limiting. The staff are great and helpful. The burres are comfortable with the beach front ones having the best spot

Friendly staff, friendly environment and the best atmosphere. The bure we booked is large and very comfortable. The restaurant has a staff member named Wisea, he made us feel right at home. Had a general conversation about the hotel, recommended what we would like and went out of his way and got something made for us when we went off menu. I really liked their relaxed approach and they joked with us. Recommended! 10/10

Extremely friendly staff, efficient check in. The room was well appointed but there were a few things in the restroom which could have used some servicing/made odd noises. Great pool and walk along the beach, but the water is pretty murky here and there is no point in snorkeling here (we tried). But there is a trip out to an island they can take you on.

    Great experience.
Friendly staff and the Bure was very comfortable and spacious.
This is not really a beach location holiday, but the pool is great and has a swim up cocktail bar.
The meals were pretty standard for a Hilton hotel.
Take care of the biting insects as I don't think the hotel spray around the resort.
There are limited TV channels so if you like to relax in front of your tv watching movies before bed then load up your tablet computer. You can't depend on the wifi for downloading.
I'd recommend this hotel mainly for adults with no children due to limited things to do.

Great place to have a relaxing holiday. Lovely view of the ocean, a nice pool to relax, and amazing cottage! It is really well maintained, you can see that the staff working hard, and is still very very polite and nice! A few add-on activities to choose from, like Jet-Ski, Snorkelling, etc, or get on a cruise if you want. Or if you're there just to relax, get a massage! Food is good, but there's still room for improvement..
All in all, a great experience!! Would stay there when I visit again for sure!

Very quiet and relaxing hotel. The swimming pool is very nice, but the beach is made of black sand and the water, although not dirty, is not crystal clear. Choice of food is limited and pricy (for Asia!), but semi-buffet option in the evening is a good deal. Staff is adorable. Internet is free if you are a Hilton Honors member (simple to do online).
