We enjoyed our day trip to Tallinn on the Viking Line. The ship was clean with good facilities - the buffet on our return trip was excellent.

For 68 euro i got a cabin, all you can eat(and drink), and a return ticket for the following day. Far cheaper than any hotel you can find in the city and you get to visit another country. Cruise line well worth it.

Took a boat from Helsinki to Stockholm. The accommodations were somewhat sub par but so is everything else in a socialist county. I suppose my rating is relative.

Decent size terminal to wait the ship. Some lockers to store your stuff and a restaurant/bar.

Very solid ferry experience. They have all of the basics like food, cabins, seating, shopping, etc covered well. I didn't realize that car decks are completely locked during the voyage but it makes sense why that would be so. It took a little longer to open the doors than we expected so there was some waiting in the cramped stairwell. Either that or shuffle along with the crowd when they announce it's time to return to your vehicle. Walk on passengers probably had no issues!
