A good place to see reptiles you can't see at Korkeasaari Zoo. Left me wondering are the living spaces for the animals good enough or are they bit uninspired. Not too much information on the animals so don't expect a Sea Life or Korkeasaari type of learning experience.

It's quite quick to go through. Took me and two kids about an hour. So not a lot of walking.

There are long steep stairs entering the place. Don't know if there was an elevator. There's also only ice cream and some sodas and water for sale so no cafe or restaurant type of thing going on.

If it wasn't for the steep entry price this would have got 4 stars. It has the largest collection of snakes we have seen but the whole visit was just over an hour as there wasn't enough eductional material.

One of the staff members was excellent and was happy to answer all our questions but another staff member avoided all customer support.

The place has much more potential if they invest in other activities to keep visitors there longer.

Worth a visit but plan other activities for the day.

Tropicario has a very nice collection of reptiles and a few other exotic animals, but the entrance price is a bit expensive.
The animals are kept well (they are reproducing, to back it up!), the displays are generally nice looking and the place is bit small but with plenty to see.
One thing worth mentioning is that some of the displays have information only in Finnish while other displays have information in a few languages (English included).

I was expecting that place to have a better collection of reptiles especially for the price I paid. In general it was exciting but lack of giving information about the animals was obvious

Great place for a rainy weekend day with kids. There are all kinds of snakes here, also lizards and even crocodiles. Good to see at least once.

Awesome animals to watch, but pretty sad to see them live out their lives in boxy, uninspired glass cages. Especially the unique rhino-style bird. He needs a buddy, for sure.

The reptilarium is pretty big, and very easy to reach with the tram (spora).
The snakes seems in good health but some of them are very old.
The price, for me as italian living, is a little bit too high (13 euros each)
The terrariums are big, and the animals have enough of space but maybe some snakes should have more places to hide, some of them seems stressed. Maybe its a choose the owner made because with more rocks and barks the animals would be less outside, and less visible from the visitors.
The reticulated pythons are impressive, I must say ! wow
