Very nice place to visit to get a chance to visit a place about medieval history. Sweden and Russia border now in Finland.

Very poor castle, nice from outside but if you like to visit a castle full of rooms set up for meetings then you'd be happy to pay 9€. Must be nice to watch some events there tho.

Absolutely gorgeous setting. Listening to the Opera within something so historic was truly an experience. Don't miss watching the sunset against the castle, the Golden hour is absolutely perfect for pictures in the late afternoon.

The Olavinlinna castle is one of the most important monuments in Finland. It has a fascinating history and hosts every July magnificent Opera festival.

A castle which was used by the Swedes to fend off the Russians long ago is now a great tourist attraction.

The Castle was very impressive. I warmly recommend the guided tour, since it was quite amusing and there is no entrance to the towers without the guide.

Nice place, good guides several languages, English and Russian as well. If you buy ticket you can join to guided group for tour around the castle. Entarncef for adults 10eur, youngsters till 17 yo. 4.5eur.
