The best part about this park is that you are almost hiking alone as generally there is no crowd. Maybe it was because I visited in September. The direction markers are well placed. The lakes add to the beauty of the place.

For a nature lover, easily accessible slice of nature. As it is located on the outskirts of the Helsinki metropolitan area, you won't be able to get the total "untouched wilderness" feel here, but for an easy weekend forest getaway it's perfect! Clean and well maintained hiking trails.

Couldn't be better! I chopped wood, explored in nature, got in wood-burning sauna and jumped in cold water in lake! Can't wait to go there again!

Amazing and beautiful national park close to Helsinki. Go pick some berries and mushrooms in the fall, and go hiking in the summer. Worth the trip out!

It is brilliantly the embodiment of nature. Peaceful, serene and calm silence. Just near the city of Espoo, not very far and not very close. Offers the touch of a jungle without loose dangerous wildlife.
I am just mesmerized by the awe of this magical place. It is a must-go destination.
