We had a fine meal, we enjoyed local dishes from the buffet.
Good food, nice prices.
Went to the bar to kill time after the road to Finland was closed. Quaint little place with Eastern european flavor like you would see depicted in a movie. Reindeer served there is ok.
We were traveling south from Norway to Finland in search of clear skies to see the northern lights. There was an accident which closed the road so we stopped in to warm up and eat rather than sitting in the car. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The bartender answered all our questions about what the drinks were since we weren't familiar with the terms used (a short drink is a shot). We got drinks and ordered the reindeer dish. Since it was so late at night that was the only food they had, but it was quite good. We spent about an hour and a half there before heading back out. It was a nice place to spend the time. They even had karaoke, which I particularly enjoyed experiencing since I assume people were singing in Finnish. Overall it was a great little pub in the middle of nowhere, right where I needed it to be.
Very nice, yes
Nice comfy place. WiFi connection is not working at all.
The guest huts are bearable, but lots of room for easy improvement. The rooms are clean and warm enough (summer visit). However, the furniture is barebones, the shower floor was wonky and didn't drain well, the lights were dim, the layout extremely poor, the facilities very minimal. (Why have a TV if no seats face it? Why not make some kind of mud free path to the terrace?) There are better options with similar prices nearby.
