Very good place to stay. Cheap and with a good location. The cheap laundry room is very useful and receptionists have good tips!

Very good value for the price, friendly and helpful staff. Everything is new, clean and well maintained. Every day tou can enjoy free sauna. You also have a Tram station 50m away to the center.

Helpful employees, the room is clean also the WC is quite proper. There's a sauna on the top floor available early in morning, also in evening but you have to pay for it. There's a kitchen facility on each floor also a fridge to store food if you need.

Exceptional value for money. The free morning sauna is great, the staff is kind, helpful and at the desk 24/7. The restaurant serves great pizza. Also the location is, albeit not in the city center directly, very well reachable by tram. The coast near the hostel is beautiful. The beds were a little hard, but the rooms were good. A funny detail: they play relaxing nature sounds in the restrooms! Great place :)

Great budget option in location within walking distance to mayor attractions in central Helsinki.

Take a twin room in you're two people instead of dorm. Ask for a room with a harbour view.

Don't miss sauna on the top floor. Sufficient breakfast is a bargain for 10 EUR. Enjoy as I did :-)

Walls are paper thin, could hear neighbors snoring (and I'm sure they heard me) and the dude next door that thought it would be good idea to watch/listen to a soccer match at 1 in the morning. No real sense of community which makes you kinda feel like you are on your own (similar to a hotel). Receptionists are very welcoming. Aside for it being a little remote (about 1 mile from action) I would consider staying here again.

It is a great hostel. Bring your own soap for showering. Towel provided. The only complaint I have is that the shared rooms that are only 2 beds, give a false sense of noise-reduction. So, the people sharing a room next to me were dang noisy.

The social areas were always closed at 11 in the evening which meant it was a really unsociable place. The breakfast in the morning was vastly overpriced at €10 euros as the food was not great and was the same every day. Some of the staff were friendly but most seemed pretty miserable. The best thing about the place was the sauna on the top floor but what do you expect it's Finland!

Dirty toilets/showers, rooms are small and uncomfortable.
Staffs behavior to custimers is saucy, scrowling and rude. The staff also talks about paying custimers behind your back if just may don't like your personal expression. I don't recommend to anyone in any case.

good security. However, the staffs are NOT friendly. You ask them a question they answer one, they won't recommend you other attractions or how to get there. you have to ask "one by one".. i would say no the staffs are lack of friendliness, enthusiasm and initiative as well.

Nice and cheap hostel. Comfortable rooms, really clean bathrooms, friendly reception and always available (24h/h). Even WiFi has good signal everywhere.
