To say that Ermias is fantastic, is an understatement. He was professional, easy going, friendly, and he cared so much about us. From the time we arrived at the Addis airport, to the time he dropped us back off, everything was well planned, and incredible. We had 2.5 weeks in Ethiopia, and we saw everything. The drivers and guides in every location were all very good, always had water and bananas for us, and would often get us coffee if we stopped. They helped us out with authentic foods and dinner reservations and we enjoyed getting to know them all and have dinner with them. Ermias checked in with both us as well as the drivers every day to ensure that things went well and there were no issues. When we flew back into Addis, there was always something planned if we wanted and he made the experience great. He accommodated last minute ideas we had, we met and had dinner with his family and he really made it the trip of a lifetime.
I would 100% go back to Ethiopia, this was the best trip I have had.response / report this review -

I really cannot say enough good things about travelling with Stunning Ethiopia, and really I am not exaggerating when I say we were completely spoiled during our trip. Ermias checked in with us daily, and somehow managed to organize everything we asked for or wanted, even with little notice. He is a blast to hang out with, and each time we went out with him it was easy, comfortable, and memorable. He is warm and accommodating, pays attention to detail and goes out of his way to have everything work out. He truly is invested in making sure you have the best trip possible, and frankly I'm going to miss this level of care on all future trips! Everything was easy and Ermias and his employees made it possible for us to completely relax, knowing that everything was taken care of. I cannot speak highly enough about this trip and that is largely due to the professionalism and fun that Stunning Ethiopia and Ermias brought to it! I can't wait to come back and will forever encourage everyone I know to travel with Ermias and check Ethiopia out (what an unbelievably diverse, stunning, and memorable country). Highly recommend the usual South and North tours (both incredible beyond words), but also Harar (phenomenal), the Rock churches of Tigray (breath-taking), the Danakil (other worldly), and hot air ballooning on the outskirts of Addis at sunrise.

My partner and I were traveling after our Peace Corps service and Ermias' company was recommended to us by a work colleague. It was the best thing that could have happened! He was so welcoming and helpful even though everything we planned was very last minute. It felt like being greeted by a close friend when he picked us up at the airport and we definitely said farewell to a friend as he dropped us off at the airport. (speaking of airports - if you're doing a lot of traveling in Ethiopia - make sure you use Ethiopian Airlines to fly into or out of the country because you then get 50% off in-country flights which will help you to of the country!)
Ermias is professional, kind and energetic as a tour guide and organizer of trips. We did the Danakil Depression, the rock churches of Tigray and some time in Addis Ababa and Ermias arranged transport in between every piece of it. If you are planning a trip last minute and want to do lots of pieces - Ermias will make it happen for you no stress. the drivers and tour guides that Ermias arranged for each experience were excellent and professional - especially in the Rock Churches of Tigray - if you go, make sure your ask for Abel!
Overall the trip was fun and flexible - we absolutely will come back to Ethiopia and we will definitely book through Stunning Ethiopia again! We can't wait to be back to spend time with Ermias and the rest of his crew.

We recently visited Ethiopia and were grateful to work with Ermias of Stunning Ethiopia Tours. We had an unexpected delay arriving in country but Ermias was extremely reassuring and accommodating and was able to reschedule our program and in-country flights. We toured Addis Ababa, Aksum, Lalibela, and Gondor, and enjoyed a 2-hour guided hike in the mountains close to Gondor . The guides for each location were excellent, very knowledgeable, and attentive to our needs. The drivers were also very good. The hotels venues were excellent. We would highly recommend Stunning Ethiopia tours to anyone who wants high quality guides, top notch hotels and a very accommodating tour operator. Ermias even arranged a repair for my damaged iPhone. What great service!

I can only praise Stunning Ethiopia Tours. My guide Wondiye and driver Dani have a wonderful day on a day tour of Addis Ababa. I felt like they were friends and organized the sights and meals perfectly. I wish I would have spent more time with them. I visited do many places and felt very safe all day. I’ll definitely come back to Ethiopia and book a longer tour with them. Excellent service and great people!

I had a fantastic experience with Stunning Ethiopia Tours on a 2-day trip to Lalibella last weekend. I was working in Addis and only had a weekend to see one of the most impressive sites I have ever visited, but Ermias was very accommodating in organising everything to my specifications. Ermias and I communicated via whatsapp to organise the details of my trip, the budget level of the accommodation I wanted to stay in etc, which made things very easy for me as I was travelling around a lot in the days running up to my trip. He also picked me up from the airport on my return to Addis and very kindly helped me move from one hotel to another, after inviting me for coffee. I chose to stay in budget accommodation in Lalibela and the hotel was beautiful and clean with very friendly staff and incredible views. My guide in Lalibela was knowledgeable and helpful and I was lucky enough to observe the final day of the Timkat festival. I highly recommend Ermias and his company Stunning Ethiopia Tours to anybody wanting to learn more about Ethiopia and feel that they are in safe, knowledgeable and responsible hands while doing so.

Our week was filled with culture, beautiful landscape, delicious meals, and the most amazing people, all so perfectly arranged by Stunning Ethiopia Tours! Ermias was able to provide my boyfriend and myself with an itinerary that filled our days, but with just the right amount of down time as well. The tour was extremely well balanced for activity and relaxation. Communication with Ermias was a breeze, always very quick to respond with answers to all of our questions. I would definitely recommend Stunning Ethiopia Tours to anyone planning a visit to Ethiopia.

Stunning is an understatement when describing the Ethiopian wonders that Ermias and his team shared with me.
I visited Ethiopia last month with the intention of doing the historical route through Axum, Lalibela, Gondar and Bahir Dar.
Ermias put together a reasonable package for me to travel and be met by a guide and drivers at each stop for a highly personalized experience. I felt like a VIP, being welcomed and informed by friendly, knowledgeable people throughout my journey. Every detail from flights to hotels, site entry fees, airport transfers etc was well taken care of.
Altogether, I really enjoyed my time in Ethiopia, I already want to go back to see stuff that I did not make it to this last time around and I know that I will be in capable hands with Ermias and his nation-wide network.
I cannot say enough nice things about Ermias, I was treated more like a dear friend than a customer.

We had a wonderful time travelling around Ethiopia lead by the extremely professional and friendly tour guides and drivers provided by stunning Ethiopia tours. Ermias always attempt to guarantee our comfort and enjoyment throughout the trip and he dealt with any problems in a calm and helpful manner. We had a lot of fun and laughs on the trip as well as being exposed to many facets of Ethiopian life, culture and landscape, particularly to the Great Rift Valley regions and the tribes in the Omo valley. I would recommend this company in a flash for anyone who planned to travel in Ethiopia

Recently we took a trip to southern Ethiopia. It was organized by Stunning Ethiopia Tour & Travel, It was really stunning!
The organization, the program, the accommodation arrangements, all were on the better side.
The driver/guide (Seyum) was very professional and did not spare any effort to satisfy us.
I highly recommend this agency for planning and executing a trip in Ethiopia.
