We passed by to see the place and confirmed that is a great spot for those who like the eco-lodge / rustic / natural spaces. It had direct access to the lake, beautiful views to it and plenty of turtles! Food is only available to those staying the night, so don't count on it is coming from Addis.

Since 2013 the most place where I want to go is view point lodge,I had spent so many time in this lodge even my honeymoon.
The owner and staffs are very friendly,service is like home away from home. The Babogaya lake view is amazing from most rooms.

The Best !!! Not for nothing this lodge won the Award of Excellence in 2012 and 2013 by Tripadvisor. Why ? Here you not get a small cup of tea, you get a whole thermos !! Here you get self made bread. Here you get honey from the Hammer tribe in South Ethiopia.
Here you feel home. We stayed 5 days after a hard journey through the country. Food is excellent and abundant.Also, no mosquitos,no insects, no malaria. We liked the room 3 down near the water with an amazing view and so many birds.
