Old hotel in the center of the town, very quiet, great location but feels somewhat dated. It's a good choice unless you really want something modern.

Ok restaurant.
tourist oriented, a bit expensive and most western foods were not good. (cheeseburger was glued meat with tones of cheese on it without any vegetables or fries and the bun was actually two toasted pieces of bread)

Almost all tour guides in Lalibela take the tour groups to eat here.
Stick to local dishes.

Did not stay here, but enjoyed the restaurant, peaceful atmosphere, nice views, and food was delicious, prices are what you would expect to cater to tourists. Toilets were grim, so I'd give them a miss if you can.

This hotel offers decent Ethiopian cuisine. Overall it was good, but bathroom facilities and cleanliness of sitting area could be improved significantly.

Didn't stay here, just came for lunch. Took one look at the toilet and left. No seat, no hose or water to wash with in the cubicle, no paper either. Not great when your stomach is upset! And that's for guests? Can't imagine those cooking the food have better facilities.
