I was admitted into this hospital as a foreign patient, with severe abdominal pain. I was unable to eat, and was vomiting. I knew full well that I had food poisoning as I had eaten meat during fasting season. The original cost of booking in is 400 birr, which doubled to 800 due to my foreign status. The doctors had drawn blood, check my spleen/appendix and I had to drive across town for an ultrasound. This took and entire day and cost me $100 usd, only to be told that nothing was wrong with me. Thankfully my partner was with me and she agreed that it was food poisoning. She went to the pharmacy and bought me medication. 6 hours later I recovered.
they took money before saving life and they have very bad customer service. one time i go their for covid test and the service was very poor so i got to go to their complain office and she told me to wait and never came back.
This hospital is one of the known medical center in Ethiopia. But this time most most patients are being treated by students who are pursuing their their career in the hospital. They don’t have enough senior physicians around them. Because of that they are challenged to diagnose the exact problem of the patient. Instead they try to convince or confuse the patient as if they diagnosed many problems and they would try to fix it with inappropriate medicine and incompetent (students) physicians. They don’t have proper recording. I was there nurses shifting their work. One of the nurses asked his shifting colleagues whether he recorded the medicine he had already given to the patient and he said ‘ I missed recording that on the log book’. Look this is the source of data base from which the next physician prescribe medication. I would like to finalize my comments by saying what happened with me. One of a students doctor told me that my patient is recovering and the patient demanded some diet foods but the next morning she deceased.
When I was there after being extremely sick, no one was willing to assist me even if I have explained all my symptoms well.
They told me to go to another hospital after wasting my time.
This is place where you find doctors who tell hospital procedures , medical lectures and so for emergency patients who desperately looking for help and they don't care any about the patient's life very bad disciplined doctors. I am so ashamed to see the the doctors in this hospital.
The hospital may not see my comment as a negative factor, before checking their google reviews they must check the doctors out there first!!!
One of the best privately owned hospitals in Addis. Located around Gerji in nearby Unity University. It has enough space for parking and neat visitors flat.
very expensive for local people and sometimes unprofessional behaviour.
Hospitable, wonderful compound, amazing shop, good prices, and shares the Gospel (non-aggressively). The only downside is that wait times are long.

Locally known as Korean Hospital. It is one of the best hospitals in Ethiopia. It has a classic, clean look. Its service is good too. Compared to most hospitals, this hospital is fairly price for the good service given. I personally use it and like it too.
Very unproffesional reception and very expensive!
It is located close to Unity University and Mebrat Hail Condominium, can be accessed from any part of the City by the local area name Imperial- Gerji district. The hospital has a huge compound that gives a medical school service and Protestant church service besides the Hospital service. It has a wide space for visitors in the lobby and a parking service in its compound. Has a collection of good doctors in all sectors but is very expensive which makes it unaffordable for low income Ethiopians.
it is hospitable! paperless movement from office to office! but long appointment hours!
Some people complain about the reception. But I found it quite good. Very clean, literally hospitable 😀 and caring.
Very clean and fast service
3 phone calls to speak to someone about making an appointment (kept getting passed around and told to ring other numbers) only to be told they don't take appointments. Come at 9am and sit and wait, someone will see you by 5pm. I have a sick child and I workhardly practical.
