My stay at the Melodie Hotel was great. The location is good as it's really close to the city centre and airport. The staff were amazing as they all went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. They all speak english, are very friendly and provide great service. The hotel is very clean and safe, and the food is very nice. The price is also very reasonable. I would definitely stay there again.

The place is not in Bole area as it claims. You need to drive to Bole for about 10mins.
Wifi is very weak. Breakfast is even worse.
Overall Ok for budget travelers. Service is in par with the money you pay.response / report this review -

O hotel é bem aconchegante a comida boa, o pessoal é muito gentil !
O wi fi é um pouco fraco e intermitente.
A localização fica um pouco distante da maioria dos pontos turísticos, mas o pessoal do hotel nos ajuda com o táxi.
Mas é bom negociar todo valor do transporte antespara não ter surpresas !response / report this review -

The Mother and Daughter running this establishment are fantastic. They comped our taxi and made our experience very easy. If you speak French you can converse much easier with the staff but the daughter Melodie speaks fluent English. The location is great for walks to nearby malls and it's a quick trip to the airport - approx 15-20 mins if you have an early morning flight. The breakfast has few items but they are 100% delicious. I would recommend this place to any foreign travelers. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Not many channels to watch on TV but who cares - go out for dinner and a show - both of which the staff can direct you to.

I liked its rooms, very big enough and spacious too. Did I mention affordable as well? One of their lighting in the wash room 👌
