For Ethiopia it's not bad at all, it's faulty for sure but it's charming and there aren't alot of good hotels in AA. The internet is pretty reliable, and the Indian restaurant in the hotel is great although a little pricey. The area feels a little rough at night but it's not dangerous at all, and when daytime arrives there are plenty of places to get a smoothie, bakery, fruits etc. and it's a 15 min walk to city center or go faster by take a cab, yes the old used Trabants from USSR, but negotiate first!)

I had one night experience in this hotel I changed my place next morning because it is not good hotel at all.It can NOT be four star hotel too ,is not clean lobby the paint is too old ,the lobby is not inviting ,the stars are wide nice but not clean the carpet is not like four star hotel at all plus poor management the owner or the manager must check and see other hotels in your area

This is an average Hotel with no air conditioning or hot water. But they provide a courtesy airport shuttle, have very courteous staff, free WiFi and fine restaurants. Avoid rooms 13 and 14 on all floors if you can because they are tiny, filled up by the bed and have a lousy view. You can ask to be moved to another room and the price difference may not be that much.

Rooms are large with free and quite fast Wi-Fi. The service is correct and friendly. Breakfast included in room fee.

I checked into the hotel at 3am and upon entering my room, I had to check out immediately. The pictures on the website are deceptive. The rooms have no air-conditioning and are very stuffy and grimy. The carpet did not look clean. Curtains were dirty.
The receptionist was very nice and sympathetic. They actually let the shuttle bus take me to another hotel a per my request. Customer service is excellent but the condition of the hotel is a minus. I hope management will invest in maintaining good standards.it is not a 4 stare hotel at all.

Serene environment, friendly and helpful staff, top notch facilities including gym, sauna and steambath. Stupendous meals with an all you can eat Buffet breakfast. Lounge Bar with wonderful piano playing. Cold beverages.

I lived in this hotel for about 3 months on and off during 2013 while designing a toilet for the bottom of the pyramid. For Ethiopia it's not bad at all, it's faulty for sure but it's charming and there aren't alot of good hotels in AA. The internet is pretty reliable,t he Indian restaurant in the hotel is great though a little pricey but it's AA and it's a city you have to dig to discover and then it's a gem :) The area feels a little rough at night but it's not dangerous at all, and when daytime arrives there are plenty of places to get a smoothie, bakery, fruits etc. and it's a 15 min walk to city center (if you take a cab, yes the old used Trabants from USSR, negotiate first!)
It's 5 min from airport which made me happy as I had to travel frequently across Ethiopia during my assignment.
