Great place to stay at with a very respectful staff but the bathroom was a bit of inconvenient, shower and toilet wasn't working as well as we needed it. Loved the food and their coffee was awesome!

Hotel is spectacular. Spa is 😁. Stayed in the hotel for a month, cleopatra is genuinely great! All the staff treated me nicely.

The bar team is the only positive I can write about this hotel. Not all travellers want to pay in cash. The credit card machine being broken without any spares is as unacceptable as not providing a receipt.

King bed, AC, mini fridge, hot water with decent water pressure, for 490 birr per night (on arrival, not in advance). Really nice, clean room, the bed was comfortable, and the WiFi was fast.

I visited Dire Dawa in February of 2017. After being disappointed with a hotel knows as Karamara Hotel/Ras Hotel II, I booked a room at Cleopatra Hotel and Spa. It is about 5 minutes walk from Karamara. This is the best hotel I have been to in Dire Dawa. Low budget, yet very comfortable, clean and good food. The beds are large and clean, washrooms and bathroom are clean. The rooms are neat and fairly large. Wifi reception is relatively good. Hot water is available 24/7. Hwever, the location is not so good. Looks like it is not along on major road, rather in neighborhood in an area of Dire Dawa called Gende-Qowre. It is about 10 minute walk from Dire Dawa Ras Hotel. It appear to me that the building is new. I paid 470 Birr (about 20 USD). Breakfast is included. I definitely recommend this hotel.
