I am reviewing the hospital on its resource management, there are a number of hospital beads that are thrown outside of the building just because they have some minor issues that can be easily fixed. I was very disappointed when I saw the poor management of the resources, as a country that is struggling to overcome poverty we all should consider each mismanagement of resource including our working hours so that our children doesn't have to go through what we have been through. I know there are brilliant minded doctors in the hospital that are working including their holidays and weakeneds, please advise the administrative management to fix the issue on the mismanagement of the resources that are laying down on the hospital sidewalks.

Its the highest level hospital in the whole country. Its a place where most experienced and excellent specialists are available but in terms of infrastructure and equipment its lagging well behind cause the government budget is too low even to pay for physician. It has undergrad, postgraduate and some subspecialty programme. Over all with this all much constraint the hospital is doing its best

Here you find the best doctors and specialists in the country. The help you very much. Their cafe serve really good foods.but it is not clean. Their are cats in the cafe. It is the best government hospital in the country. It is so busy that for one surgery you wait as long as 8 months. I have waited for 3 months to get a surgery.

They have the best specialists in ethiopia. But they didn't work on the cleanness of the buildings. They have good food. But the kitchen is not clean. I give 4 stars because the treatment is good. But I give 1 star for the cleanness of the buildings. Its second entrance is too crowded and there are holes which make it uncomfortable for cars and pedestrian.

Tikur Anbessa Hospital is a specialized teaching hospital located in the heart of Addis.
The School of Medicine (SoM, previously called Faulty of Medicine) was established in 1964 with the goal of producing medical doctors to shoulder the country’s health problems. Starting from 1979, the School launched graduate programs, an epic as the first graduate programs in Addis Ababa University.
Prior to 1972, SoM was located at the main campus for preclinical trainings and the then Princess Tsehay Memorial Hospital (now, Armed Forces General Hospital) for clinical trainings. Later, with the opening of Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital (TASH) in 1972, the hospital became the only site for training of Medical Doctors.
In 1998, the TASH, the largest referral hospital in the country, with 700 beds, was transferred to the School by the Federal Ministry of Health and it has since become a University teaching hospital. Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital is now the main teaching hospital for both clinical and preclinical trainings of most disciplines and it is where specialized clinical services that are not available in other public or private institutions are rendered to the whole nation.
