The price is way too high for the value. Hot water isn't working, WiFi connection is almost non existant, pidgeons are on the balcony and if you open the windows they also get into the room. For this price range you will get better hotels in Europe, which is crazy. We stayed in a 13$ hotel afterwards and it offered the same comfort.

Unfortunately, my experience staying at Atse Yohnnes hotel has not been a pleasant one. Communication between myself and the staff has been very frustrating. Their English is almost non existent, as is my Amharic. At first it was just little things, like the key to my door not working, the cold shower, the street noise, the lack of wifi however, some people may take these things as part of the experience. The most frustrating part about my stay is that on numerous occasions the staff have brought me food that I didn't order and then they charged me for it I'm wondering if this is a common scam in Ethiopia or if this is limited to the hotel? Either way, it's really put a damper on my stay and for that reason I wouldn't recommend this hotel to other travelers.
