Careful when paying with credit card the waiter did not let me choose currency and defaulted to CAD at a very bad exchange rate.

Traveling abroad. Stopped in for some tapas for lunch. Atmosphere was nice. Food was pretty good. The tapas needed to be warmed up in the microwave a bit.Service was horrible. Worst I have experienced in Europe so far. The tapas are all laid out on the bar counter, as is normal. You ask the bar tender for a plate and take what you want, then show him/her what you have so they can ring up your total. I was completely ignored for about 15 minutes while trying to get a plate from the bartender. It was not crowded. He did not give me any silverware, but did give it to others before and after me. Once I made my selections, it took another 15 min to get his attention to give him my money (i was standing there with a full plate and showing money in my hand). I felt completely worthless as a customer and very awkward. Out of frustration, I almost just ate and left thinking, "if they don't want my money, they don't have to have it." I would only recommend this place if you have a pushy friend with you that speaks Spanish.
