My advice is to go in! really one of the most beautiful cathedrals i have ever been to. they offer also guided audio.
Well worth the money. Great view and amazing architecture.
This is a breathtaking church well-worth the visit. My experience is that they let priests in free. If you can program a couple hours for the audio tour it is worth it. It is beautiful and it has a lot of history. Perhaps what is most worth visiting in Salamanca.
New and Old Cathedral in one amazing temple. Difficult to distinguish one from the other, but it is not an issue, since the whole picture is an enormous, wonderful, gothic masterpiece. Worth searching the Astronaut and the Satirus holding an icecream, on the sculptures of one of the doors
A beautiful masterpiece of medieval art. The old and new cathedrals are joint together so one ticket allows to visit both. The play of light coming in through the stained windows provides great ambience to admire magnificent chapels and sacral art.
Absolutely breathtaking cathedrals. The old cathedral is great for people who like really really old stuff, of course, but the new cathedral is just bonkers. So intricate, so beautiful.
Nice place. Fun game: try to find the sculpted astronaut and the dragon eating ice cream on the facade of the building.
One of the prettiest cathedrals in europe. The view from the top is breathtaking (take note, it costs about 5euro pp)
A fantastic "double" cathedral. Both sections are beautiful, but the older section was perhaps the more impressive!
When in Salamanca, one must visit the Cathedrals. Salamanca is one of the only cities in Spain to have two of these historic cathedrals. The view of the outside is spectacular; thinking about how long all of that carving must have taken is awe-inspiring. But once you get inside, you appreciate it even more. The interior is ornate and truly spectacular. It's a must-see for any Salamantino or viajero.
