Surprisingly amazing food but with lots of flaws and too expensive
Really great food. Perfect cook on the beef (not often seen in Andalusia), but unfortunately also with a lot of flaws in service.
They didn't have the wine we asked for, so they offered us a SIMILAR wine from the same grape, they only forgot to mention it didn't have the same price. We learned when we got the bill.
We loved the solomillo of retinto. When I asked the cook to come to our table, to say this to him in person, it was simple not possible. And besides this they could also have had better knives to cut the meat.
Afterwards we wanted to order something else and asked for the chuleton, and if it had a lot of fat. We weren't sure if it was the meat we thought it was. When they answered "no", we thought we perhaps were mistaken. But we weren't. It had lots of fat. If we had known before, we would have ordered the solomillo again in stead of this.
The waiter was a very nice guy during the meal, very relaxed about all our questions about lactose intolerance, but at the end, when we had some complaints, he really did not understand the concept of "the customer is king". We asked for the owner to explain some things and learned the cook who didn't want to come out before, and still had a hard time doing so at the end, he we the same guy and he neither understood our problems.
It is a pity, cause the meal really was nice, but believe me, the price we paid, I would at least have expected great customer service and some understanding. I'll never go here again and will not recommend it to no-one!

Beautiful restaurant, great food, lovely staff. Quiet atmosphere. Best place we've eaten at in Andalucía.

Hombre! Espectacular, cocina muy cuidadita,al detalle, unas carnes buf!Todo muy bueno. Y una gente muy profesional y agradable. Y en ese entorno tan inmerso en verde tiene aparcamiento. Y no me olvido del acueducto romano-arabe que lo rodea todo.

Buen retinto (21€), pollo campero muy conseguido (13 €), postres muy ricos (4,5€). Servicios muy limpios y camareros atentos.
