Spanish Paradores Nacionales, always a good option, sometimes better than higher rating hotels. In Almagro is well situated in town, good parking inside (free) and outside. Excellent food as usual, nice terraces, bar, lounge and pool. Only negative point is breakfast, maybe too small compared to what Paradores usually offers. We were on junior suite, large room, well isolated from exterior and good A/C. Will come again.

We enjoyed a very tasty dinner served in the lovely courtyard and better still accompanied by fine live music :) What's not to like?

Beautiful hotel with stunning decor and spacious quiet rooms. Lunch and breakfast excellent. Swimming pool too deep and high sides so not comfortable to be in especially with children

Simply amazing. It's such a beautiful place. A must see. The only drawback is the price, a little high, but it's usual for the Spanish 'paradores'.

It's a wonderful and magical place, located in ancient cleric's monastery. Room are big and there are plenty of "hidden" places where to relax and have a cup of tea with a good book or a local wine with friends. It's a must on itself.

The Parador of Almagro is a wonderful place to stay if you visit La Mancha. We combined our stay here with a Don Quixote themed weekend and some winery tours in Valdapenas. The Parador is an old convent and still retains many wonderful original features in its rooms and many patios. We also ate dinner here and had a wonder La Mancha Traditional Menu. A fantastic place to stay if you travel to or through this part of Spain.

Spacious room, great wine and food, good views, friendly employees, nice and quite place. The only downside is the hairdryer, it's a bit outdated..
